Process of Ordering One of Our Custom Hats:
1. Welcome and Introduction: We’ll greet you and ask if you're interested in a felt or straw hat. Let us know if you’re looking for something specific or just want to explore all your options.
2. Head Measurement: We’ll measure your head and determine its shape to ensure a perfect fit.
3. Fit Testing: You’ll try on hats that match your size and head shape to confirm the best fit.
4. Color Selection: Together, we'll review color options and help you choose the one that best suits your style.
5. Hat Shape Discussion: We’ll talk about the brim size and crown height to find the right shape for your custom hat.
6. Liner and Sweatband: In the sewing area, you’ll choose the colors for your liner and sweatband.
7. Band Options: Browse our band selections and pick the one that completes your look.
8. Finalize and Order: Once you’ve made your selections, we’ll check out and place your custom order.
9. Appointment Setup: We’ll call you to schedule an appointment when your hat is ready.
10. Final Fitting: Come in for hat shaping and a final fitting to make sure it’s just right.
To guarantee the perfect fit, quality, and style, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment for a personalized fitting. The unique dimensions and shape of your head dictate the size of your hat and help us ensure a true custom fit.
It is best to do the fitting in person! If this is not a possibility, you can order your hat at our online store. Please note that the estimated completion period for a custom hat is 3 months.

What's Included
All hats include the fur body of your choice, silk hat liner, grosgrain ribbon hatband, and a lambskin leather sweatband with your name stamped in gold leaf. You will also receive a hatbox for storage.
Customizations
We have 34 hat colors available, 7 colors of silk liners, 5 sweatband colors, and hundreds of ribbons in various colors and widths to choose from.

1. Fur Quality
The fur quality is what will determine the price of your hat. You are paying for the fur quality, not the color. Please note that the “Natural" color is only available in the Beaver Blend or higher qualities. WE REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT UP FRONT AT TIME OF ORDER.

3. Silk Hat Liner
Silk hat liners are sewn into the inside of the hat to protect the felt from sweat and body oils. They are made from silk, a natural and breathable fabric.
4. Lambskin Sweatband
Lambskin sweatbands are sewn into the inside of the hat crown for ultimate fit and comfort. They guard against sweat damage and are stamped with your name in gold leaf for custom orders.

6. Optional Add-Ons
Bound Edge Brim: $40
- A half-inch grosgrain ribbon sewn onto the outer edge of the brim offered in a variety of colors.
Pencil Rolled Brim: $40
- A curved edge on the brim of your hat.
Small Feathers: $15
- We offer a large variety of small feathers to be stitched onto your hat.
Large Feathers: $25
- We offer a large variety of large feathers to be stitched onto your hat
Eyelets: $15
- Small metal circles inserted into the crown of the hat for ventilation and/or decorative purposes. We offer a variety of colors.
Distressing: $75
- Distressing of the hat is done in order to make the hat look worn and aged. The heavier the distressing, the more worn it looks.
Embroidery: $50/hour
- Decorative designs of your choice with hand needlework.
Branding: $50/hour
- Decorative designs of your choice burned into the hat.
